Исаак Розенфейн – худой человек с правильными чертами лица. У него усы, и он зачесывает волосы назад. Когда он говорит, он пристально смотрит на меня, но порой кажется, что он уходит в свой мир, вспоминая что-то глубоко личное, и не спешит делиться тем, что у него на уме. У нас с Исааком была встреча в еврейской библиотеке. Исаак очень добрый, интеллигентный человек с безупречными манерами и чувством собственного достоинства. Но в некоторых вопросах он скрытен; есть предметы, которые он никогда не обсуждает, те, которые он оставляет только для своего ума и памяти. Когда его подталкивают говорить на такие темы, в частности о политике, он обычно отвечает «я не знаю» или «я не помню».
