Chisinau Seminar – November 2017

From November 15-17, 2017 Centropa and its Moldovan partner ICTPD conducted their second Trans.History training seminar in Chisinau, Moldova for 45 Moldovan, Ukrainian and German educators on „Connecting Moldovan students with 20th Century Jewish History – and with their neighbors“.

Mannheim Seminar – September 2017

From September 8–11, 2017 Centropa organized a seminar on „Comparative perspectives on commemorating 20th Century Jewish History” in Mannheim, Germany. The three-day event brought together 25 selected multipliers and Centropa veteran teachers from Moldova, Ukraine and Germany. During the seminar, the participants visited several places of German Jewish life in the Rhine-Neckar region and discuss and shared their best practices on imparting Jewish culture in educational contexts.

Lviv Seminar – Spring 2017

On 31 March 2017 and 1 April 2017, Centropa and our Ukrainian NGO partners, the Society Initiative Institute and Mnemonika, conducted our fourth Trans.History training seminar in Ukraine.

We welcomed over fifty teachers and educators, civil society representatives, and journalists from Ukraine, Moldova, and Germany. During the seminar, we announced the winners of our Ukrainian student film competition and hosted screenings of the winning films.

Chisinau Seminar – January 2017

From January 25-27, Centropa and its Moldovan partner, the Chisinau-based ICTPD, organized the first Trans.History training seminar for Moldovan educators in Chisinau. 45 educators and NGO representatives from Moldova joined by delegations from Ukraine and Germany, as well as Poland.
